Espresso vs. GT synthesis
We found a website listing results for various components designed by the ESPRESSO logic minimization tool, labeled 'Espresso Results'.We then used GT synthesis technology to design the same components. Below, the results are presented in a table format.
For comparison, we recalculated the delays for the Espresso circuits, using a 37ps delay for the 'AND' gate (instead of 0.12ns) and a 42ps delay for the 'OR' gate (instead of 0.14ns).
